Kristy A. Motta CFP®
Kristy’s early childhood memories include riding around corporate office parks with her dad, looking for companies that ended in “Inc.” When she spotted one, he added it to his prospect list. Later, they’d go to the library and look up all the “Inc.”s they’d found in the Who’s Who directory.
So it’s fair to say Kristy grew up in the industry. She earned her B.A. in business and marketing at Loyola Marymount University, and, young prospecting years aside, has worked professionally in financial services since 1993. Her focus is on the client’s big picture, spotting potential holes in the planning, and offering useful strategies through investment portfolio design.
She earned the professional CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification (CFP®) in 2003 from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO. She’s a registered principal and branch office manager with LPL Financial, Consolidated Financial Management’s registered broker/dealer. She is an investment advisor representative with LPL Financial in California, Texas and Oregon. Kristy also has her Oregon state life, health and disability insurance license and variable annuity license. Her past professional affiliations include the Financial Planning Association.
She lives in Beaverton, OR, with her husband, Mark, and their dogs, Diva, Rusty, and Scotty. In her free time, she likes to go shopping at Nordstrom with her daughter, Katy, read fun novels, spend time on the water, and workout on her Peloton.
